Submarines are considered to be the dangerous threat to ships during world war 2 in-game you can play the Submarines from WW1 and the top tiers are the WW2 ones and they are dangerous to battleships and cruisers.
When submerged only destroyers will be able to deal against them along with a few battleships and cruisers wich are armed with depth charges
